***Disclaimer" I will be using all current language in regards to social media and social networking***
So this week’s assignment, I am sure was a favorite amongst most students, since it is something that we use every single day, multiple times per day via different devices. We all live by the unwritten laws of Facebook (Don’t lie, you know that you do!) and we still get so upset when people break one of these said laws that are not posted anywhere.
Here are some of the laws:
So those were just a few that we all know we follow even though they are not actually posted anywhere. Except here. Now. Anyways...so back to me. In 2011 I used Facebook and other social networking platforms the most that I ever have or had and this is because I was running an active boutique off of Facebook. But now since I have closed it I could really care less about what Susie had for breakfast or what shows Kelly is watching this week or what the newest debate article is that Nancey is watching and critiquing. The only reason I go on Facebook now is to obviously pass time, or to see photos of my nieces and nephews, as well as share pictures of my little girl.
I think Social media is the biggest relationship killer ever. For this class we watched a video that was called "Did You Know?" and one of the facts that it pointed out was the percentage of relationships that fail because of social media. Guys are idiots and think that they can get away with doing anything they want to because it is "their" account. well guess what buddy... anything that you think is a secret, your girlfriend or wife has known about it for weeks, waiting on you to come clean. It is so easy to snapchat, pm, tweet, dm people and start up emotional affairs without your partner ever knowing until somehow your password slips into their hands. It is a very scary thing to think about, people have this easy access to attention and they are going to take it, run and keep coming back like little wild wolves.
I think social media is good for news stories like I have said many times before, But overall, I think it has made us a more ignorant, distant society and that is not a good sign for the coming years of humanity.

Here are some of the laws:
- You don't post on a person of the opposite sex's wall unless you are in a relationship with that person
- If you are in a relationship you BETTER have it posted all over your wall so that there are no questions to the general public who your significant other is for that week.
- You better post pictures of you time together so that people know you two are together but if you post TOO many then people may think you are a creepy, obsessive psycho.
- Do not brag too much
- Stop with the billions selfies
- This isn't twitter, get to stepping with you constant <140 character posts.
- Whoever gets the most likes on a picture wins $1million (NOT!)
- Do not like your own shit.
- You cant like somebody's picture three days in a row because that makes you a creep.
- Don't stalk pages.
